Marilyn Rivera-Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marilyn began their career as a Graphic Illustrator at Sykes Enterprises, Inc., working at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY from May 1999 to April 2001. Marilyn then transitioned to the role of an Interpreter (English/Spanish) at Arlington School District in Dutchess County, NY from March 2011 to September 2014. Marilyn's most recent and current role is that of a Bilingual Health Home Outreach Care Navigator at The Institute for Family Health since September 2014. Marilyn is currently serving as a Bilingual Senior Lead Remote Chronic Care Navigator in the same company.

Marilyn Rivera-Diaz received a degree in Secondary Education: Spanish from SUNY New Paltz between 2004 and 2008. Marilyn then pursued further studies in Educational Psychology at Marist College from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1990, they completed a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources at the University of Puerto Rico: Humacao.
