The Institute of Bankers Pakistan was established in 1951, with a vision to contribute towards the training and development of competent human resource for the banking industry of Pakistan. Being ISO 9001:2008 certified, the Institute holds a strong position amongst the financial sector due to its unbound commitment towards continuous improvement.

For more than 6 decades, The Institute of Bankers Pakistan stands as the only financial sector’s training institute which is internationally recognized by The Institute of Bankers (UK). Since its inception, IBP has keenly focused on facilitating the banking and financial sector with quality trainings, certifications, customized programs, assessment and recruitment facilities.

The Institute of Bankers Pakistan has achieved major milestones by improving the quality of training programs being offered by collaborating with renowned international organizations such as The Business Continuity Institute (BCI-UK) and International Finance Corporation (IFC). It is also worth mentioning that IBP has now signed exclusivity with Omega Performance (Singapore) enabling the bankers to benefit from its entire bouquet of product offerings.

Under the flagship of The IBP School (TIS), The Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) has introduced the Certified General Banker (CGB) program which aims to overcome the gap between fresh graduates and banks.  

The IBP Superior Qualification (ISQ) program is a unique product offering that enables the bankers to stand out as leaders in the financial sector. The IBP Microfinance Diploma (IMFD) program and Professional Bankers (PB) program are other exclusive ventures of IBP.
