Simon Lerwill currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) since May 2024. Prior to this role, Simon has held various leadership positions in development and alumni relations, including Director of Development at Marlborough College since January 2020, and Director of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Birmingham from January 2016 to December 2019. Additional experience includes Development Director roles at The Independent Schools of King Edward VI in Birmingham and King Edward's School, Birmingham, as well as a Development Executive and Annual Fund Manager position at the University of Birmingham. Simon Lerwill earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography and Planning from the University of Birmingham between 1999 and 2002 and attended Sherborne School from 1993 to 1998.
