Rich Saunders

Rich Saunders has a strong background in purchasing and procurement. Rich began their career at Micros to Mainframes as an Information Technology and Acquisition Manager, where they implemented purchasing practices and managed the company's largest accounts. In 2005, they joined Bradley Pharmaceuticals as a Purchasing Director, where they oversaw a $44.5MM budget and a team of four. Rich implemented a system of checks and balances to maximize value from vendors and achieved an average savings of $21M on purchases. Rich also collaborated with various departments and negotiated contracts for printed materials, promotional items, and packaging. In 2012, Rich became a Purchasing Coordinator II at Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc., before ultimately joining The Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics, Inc. in 2015 as their Director of Purchasing. In this role, they managed a $50.0MM procurement budget and oversaw operational expenditures, contract execution, and invoice audits. Rich has consistently demonstrated their ability to optimize purchasing processes and deliver cost savings.

Rich Saunders earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Rockland Community College from 1980 to 1982. Rich then went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in the same field of study at Pace University from 1982 to 1984.
