Amy Cole-Smith

Amy Cole-Smith is an experienced professional in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion, currently serving as Executive Director-BIIC and Director of Diversity at The Institutes since 2021. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of Associate Director for External DEI, Access, and Success at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities from 2018 to 2021. Amy has also worked as the Director of Transfer and Veteran Academic Services at Oklahoma State University from 2015 to 2018, an Analyst at the Maryland Higher Education Commission in 2014-2015, and an Adjunct History Faculty member at Howard Community College in 2013-2014. Amy Cole-Smith holds a Master of Arts in History from Morgan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland.
