Jack Shepherd

Jack Shepherd is a highly experienced structural engineer with a career spanning over 17 years in various roles, currently serving as a Director at Apex Consulting Engineers since 2015. With a strong background in structural design from conception to technical approval, responsibilities include collaboration with construction disciplines, statutory authorities, and contractors. Jack has also held the position of Supervising Civil Engineer at the Institution of Civil Engineers since 2020, and previously worked as a Senior Engineer at Opus International Consultants, where project experience included residential, commercial, industrial, and sports stadium projects. Notable achievements include providing structural engineering support in New Zealand following the Canterbury earthquakes. Jack holds an MSc in Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield and a BEng in Civil & Structural Engineering from the University of Leeds.
