Lucy Scannell

Lucy Scannell is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Lead for the North West at the Institution of Civil Engineers since January 2024. Prior to this role, Lucy worked as a Communications & Engagement Advisor at the Real Estate Authority from July 2022 to August 2023 and held the position of Communications Coordinator at The Agency Communications from October 2019 to July 2022, focusing on press releases, media strategy, and marketing. Lucy's career also includes experience as a Social Media Manager at Eastside Butchery, a strategic communications intern at Opawa School, and various roles in marketing and communications at organizations such as ChristchurchNZ and Komodo Monitr. Lucy holds a Master of Strategic Communication with Merit and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications and Political Science and International Relations from the University of Canterbury.
