Philip Bamu

Philip Bamu, PE, CEng, FIStructE, FZweIE, MASCE, is a seasoned structural engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and project management. Currently serving as Principal and CEO of PCB International, LLC since April 2007, Philip also represents the Washington, DC area for the Institution of Structural Engineers. Previous roles include Senior Structural Engineering Project Manager at Woods Peacock Engineering Consultants, Senior Engineer positions at The SK&A Group and Thornton Tomasetti, and a Board Member position at Air Zimbabwe. Philip has held significant leadership roles such as Vice Chairman of the Council at Bindura University of Science Education and Managing Director at Young Bamu Jennings, Consulting Engineers. An alumnus of The Ohio State University with a Master of Science in Structural Engineering, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, with a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, Philip has contributed to significant professional organizations, including serving as President of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers.
