Miroslav Máčala

Miroslav Máčala is an experienced operations and business development professional currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at The Intercept since July 2017. Prior roles at The Intercept include Manager of Business Operations & Strategy and Executive Assistant & Business Development Associate. Prior to this, Miroslav worked as an Executive Legal Assistant at Sloss Eckhouse LawCo and held interim and assistant positions at Jay Julien and Associates and Amy Robinson Productions. Miroslav began a career in academia as Carla Kuhn Speaker Series Coordinator at Columbia University, after obtaining a Master of Fine Arts in Film & TV Creative Producing from Columbia University (2011-2014) and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Cinema Production and Business Administration from Ithaca College (2007-2011).
