Matt Bailey is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity, digital services, and public technology with extensive experience in various influential roles. Currently serving as the Senior Global Advisor for Cybersecurity and Information Integrity at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems since April 2022, Matt has previously held significant positions, including Digital Freedom Program Director at PEN America and Agency Review Team Lead at the Biden-Harris Transition Team. With a background in user experience and technology innovation at organizations like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Government of the District of Columbia, Matt is also a co-founder of Code for DC and has contributed to the boards of Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting and District Civic Labs. Matt holds a Master of Arts in English from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Gonzaga University.
