Rakibul Islam

Rakibul Islam is a skilled Project Officer with extensive experience in civic education and youth programming. Currently serving at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems, Rakibul focuses on promoting civic education initiatives. Prior roles include Education Programme Coordinator at the Norwegian Refugee Council, where project management, collaboration with stakeholders, and capacity-building initiatives were key responsibilities. Previous positions involved monitoring political and electoral violence as a Program Officer at The Asia Foundation and facilitating youth leadership training with the British Council’s Active Citizens Program. Rakibul holds a Master's in Peace Conflict and Human Rights Studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals and is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management.
