Nicolas Lapoujade

Nicolas Lapoujade currently serves as the IB coordinator and Head of Department for French and Spanish at The International School Yangon since July 2019. Prior roles include Head of Department and French and technology teacher at Canadian International School Bangalore, where contributions included leading the middle school student council and developing digital portfolios. At Laramie County School District #1, Nicolas held the position of Head of Department for high school French, recognized as an outstanding teacher for two consecutive years, while also advising the international club and securing grants for technology integration. Early career experience involved teaching French at East High School and working as a phlebotomist at Altru Health System, where duties included training new staff and enhancing inter-departmental communication. Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in education with a focus on media integration from Wilkes University and has additional degrees in French education and emergency medical technology.
