Daniel A. Thompson

Dan has over thirty years of experience in Investigations and Security Management and is a life member of the World Association of Detectives. He has previously managed Australasia’s largest Private investigation business with responsibility for 300 staff and 7000 investigations annually.

He is a widely recognized private investigator that has confidence that comes from decades of crime-fighting. From his roots as a South Auckland cop through to his corporate problem-solving abilities, Dan will deliver.

He is an advisor for MAF Qual. Meat Act compliance and prosecutions and Investigations and Security advisor to the EMA and NZR. He was also responsible for developing and implementing the investigative process for the Australian Business Software Association (BSSA) in association with the BSA in the USA.

Other notable achievements include successfully developing and implementing a New Zealand-wide Investigation service for the ACC.

Regarded as an expert in his field, Daniel is regularly invited as a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and workshops.
