Carissa Parnitzke

Carissa Parnitzke is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Director at The Ion Center For Violence Prevention since May 2021. Prior to this role, Carissa held various positions at Winegardner & Hammons from August 2003 to May 2021, including Human Resources Director and Bookkeeper, as well as Front Desk Supervisor and Guest Services Representative. Carissa’s early career included roles at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati from June 1999 to September 2007, where responsibilities encompassed pool deck supervision, water aerobics instruction, and lifeguard training. Carissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Northern Kentucky University, earned between 2001 and 2008.
