Dalton Hayes has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare and sports industry. Dalton started their career in 2015 as an Athletic Trainer at Physio, where they worked with 250 athletes at a high school, providing medical coverage, evaluations, and rehabilitation programs. Dalton then moved on to work as an Athletic Trainer with the Boston Red Sox in 2016. In 2016, they joined Summit Orthopedics as a Practice Development Manager, where they were responsible for implementing critical skills in athletic injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation. Dalton later transitioned to the role of Senior Clinic Administrator at UnityPoint Health's Blank Children's Hospital in 2020. Currently, they serve as the Director of Operations at The Iowa Clinic since 2022.

Dalton Hayes has a strong educational background in the field of health and healthcare administration. Dalton pursued a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training/Trainer from Simpson College from 2011 to 2015. During their time at Simpson College, Dalton obtained a certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) from the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer in May 2015. Additionally, they received a certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Red Cross in May 2013.

Continuing their education, Dalton then pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from LSU Shreveport from 2018 to 2019. During this period, they enhanced their knowledge and skills in healthcare administration and management.
