Ella Sloane

Ella Sloane is an entry-level journalist currently working at The Irish Times since September 2024 and a contributing writer for UTOPIA The Edit since January 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a tour guide at the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark from May 2022 to August 2024 and holding various editorial roles at Trinity News, including Assistant Editor and Life Editor, from December 2020 to May 2024. Ella has also contributed artwork to multiple college publications under Trinity Publications and has experience in public relations as the Public Relations Officer for Trinity Arts Festival. Other roles include Library Assistant at Trinity College Dublin and a brief internship at BBC News. Ella Sloane is pursuing a degree in English Literature and Sociology at Trinity College Dublin, having previously attended St. Clare's Comprehensive School.
