Akiva J. has a strong background in risk management and auditing. Akiva worked as the Head of Risk Management at Harel Insurance & Finance from December 2011. Akiva then moved on to ICIC - Israel Credit Insurance Company in the same role from December 2016. Prior to these positions, they served as an Audit Manager at Psagot Investment House from 2009 to 2011, where they managed the internal audit process and ensured compliance with local regulations. Akiva also gained experience at Deloitte Israel, where they started as a Manager in 2007 and was promoted to department manager after two years as a senior department analyst. In this role, they provided trustee services, conducted audits, and implemented an internal audit and risk management system.
Akiva J. is currently a Master's degree candidate in Statistics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, starting in 2019 and expected to complete in 2023. Prior to this, Akiva J. obtained an M.B.A. in Finance from Bar-Ilan University from 2007 to 2009. Akiva J. also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Psychology from The Open University of Israel, completed from 2004 to 2007. In addition to these degrees, Akiva J. has obtained additional certifications, including the FRM certification from GARP Research & Securities and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
