Kharishar Kahfi

Kharishar Kahfi is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles and reporting across various platforms. From December 2016 to February 2020, Kharishar served as the General News Desk Deputy Editor at The Jakarta Post, overseeing a team of journalists to produce a variety of stories on topics including politics, environment, and science. Previous positions at The Jakarta Post included National Desk Reporter and Writer, and Cub Reporter, focusing on diverse issues such as disaster and governmental policy. Kharishar has also worked as an Editorial Intern at the National Audubon Society and Living on Earth, and as a Multimedia Editor and Copy Editor for Scienceline, enhancing skills in multimedia story editing and science reporting. Additionally, Kharishar interned at The Block, specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrency reporting. Kharishar holds a Master of Arts in Science, Health & Environmental Reporting from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, Journalism from the University of Indonesia.
