Andrea Abeleda

Andrea Abeleda is an accomplished Grants Manager at The James Irvine Foundation since January 2023, with extensive experience in donor relations and grant management. Previous roles include Donor Relations Manager and Executive Assistant to the VP of Development & Donor Relations at California Community Foundation from 2020 to 2023, and Contract Operations Manager and Compliance Officer at First 5 LA from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Andrea managed the Arts grantmaking portfolio at California Community Foundation and oversaw the Fellowship for Visual Artists Initiative. Andrea began their career as a Development Coordinator at Kidspace Children's Museum. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Sociology from UC Irvine.
