Ann McMahon has extensive experience in data analysis, program management, and leadership in various organizations focused on agriculture, food systems, and public health. Since June 2012, Ann has contributed to the USDA in multiple roles, including Data Analyst and Program Analyst, and was part of the Leadership Institute Class of 2014. Previous positions include serving as Food System Coordinator for the Childhood Obesity Action Network, where Ann developed guidelines for food assistance programs, and as Special Assistant to the Commissioner at the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets. Ann's background also includes a fellowship at the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society, data analysis at the NYS Office of Mental Health, and leadership experience with the U.S. Peace Corps. Ann holds a BS in Anthropology from SUNY Brockport and a Master of Public Administration with a Certificate in Non-Profit Management & Leadership from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University of Albany, NY.
