Juan Chavez Phr

Juan Chavez has over 30 years of experience in human resources. Juan currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at The Jel Sert Company, where they lead a team of seven HR professionals and advises managers and directors on HR issues and strategies. Prior to this role, they worked at United Parcel Services as a Region Staffing Manager, overseeing the recruitment of employees in the Metro Chicago, North, and Central Illinois districts. Juan also served as a Human Resources Manager at United Parcel Services, where they were responsible for recruitment, employee relations, and safety programs for two operations.

Juan Chavez, PHR, SHRM-SCP, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from DePaul University. Juan obtained this degree from 1979 to 1984. Additionally, Juan has obtained the certifications of PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional). These certifications were obtained from HRCI-SHRM in March 1998.
