The Jewish Leadership Academy
Johanna Lopez, Ed.S, NCSP, currently serves as a Learning Specialist at The Jewish Leadership Academy and holds positions as a Field Researcher at Pearson, Data Collector at PAR, Inc., and Field Examiner at PRO-ED, Inc., all since July 2023. Additionally, Johanna has been an English Second Language Teacher with VIPKid since January 2021 and a Staff Volunteer with Autism on the Seas since September 2016, assisting special needs families during vacations. Prior experience includes roles as a School Psychologist at the University of Florida and Duval County Public Schools, along with serving as a School Psychologist Intern at Miami-Dade County Public Schools. From June 2013 to September 2020, Johanna worked as Associate Site Director for Breakthrough Miami, an academic enrichment program for underserved middle-school students. Educational qualifications include an Ed.S in School Psychology from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Miami.

The Jewish Leadership Academy is a Miami-based selective Middle and High School dedicated to building the skills, nurturing the values, and igniting the passion amongst its students for a life of leadership within the Jewish community and beyond.
