Yaakov Katz

Yaakov Katz is a distinguished Senior Fellow at The Jewish People Policy Institute since October 2023 and has been an author at St. Martin's Press since June 2016, with notable works including “Shadow Strike,” “Weapon Wizards,” and the forthcoming “Precision Strike.” Katz served as Editor in Chief of the Jerusalem Post from May 2016 to May 2023 and held the roles of Senior Policy Advisor at the Office of Minister of Economy, Education & Diaspora Affairs from August 2013 to April 2016, and Military Correspondent and Defense Analyst at Jerusalem Post from July 2003 to August 2013. Katz also contributed to Harvard University as an Adjunct Lecturer from August 2012 to August 2017 and was a 2012-2013 Fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism. Katz authored "Israel vs. Iran: The Shadow War" and has extensive experience as Israel Correspondent for Jane's Defence Weekly from 2009 to January 2012. Katz holds a degree in Law from Bar-Ilan University (2002-2006) and a fellowship from the Nieman Foundation at Harvard University (2012-2013).
