Jojo's career began in retail management, with positions as a Department Manager at Pottery Barn from 1992 to 1996 and at Macy's from 1990 to 1992. Jojo holds a degree in Speech and Communication Studies from San Francisco State University, completed in 1990, and graduated from Lowell High School in 1985.
