Docent & Museum Guide Program Associate at The Ringling

Kathleen Brett Mulqueen has an extensive background in education and community service, currently serving as a Docent & Museum Guide Program Associate at The Ringling since November 2017, where management of over 100 active volunteer docents is a key responsibility. Prior to this role, Kathleen was the Coordinator for Community Association Services at Lakewood Ranch, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance community services between September 2015 and November 2017. Kathleen also gained experience as a Volunteer Museum Docent at The Ringling from September 2013 to September 2016 and fostered community engagement at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee between October 2011 and January 2013. Early professional experience includes teaching fourth grade at Saint Michael School from August 1996 to 2000. Kathleen holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Connecticut and has pursued further education at Kean University and the University of Essex, focusing on English Language and Literature.
