Matthew Berry

Matthew Berry has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthew began their career as a Summer Intern at the Public Building Commission of Chicago in 2000. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Beer Vendor at Wrigley Field and as a Server/Bartender at Heaven on Seven on Rush. In 2006, they joined U.S. Equities Realty as a Financial Analyst & Research Associate. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Associate at Shefsky & Froelich. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Associate Attorney at Shefsky & Froelich. Matthew then joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates as an Associate Attorney from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, they joined The John Buck Company as an Associate and worked their way up to various positions including Vice President, Senior Vice President, and currently serves as the Managing Director, Investments.

Matthew attended Francis W. Parker School from 1996 to 1999 and obtained their High School Diploma.

Matthew then enrolled in Wesleyan University from 1999 to 2003 and studied Government. It is unclear if they obtained a degree.

In 2006 to 2007, Matthew attended Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science.

From 2008 to 2011, Matthew attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law.

In terms of additional certifications, in August 2017, Matthew completed a course on Business and Financial Modeling at The Wharton School. In the same month and year, they also obtained a certification in Valuation and Investing from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

More recently, in September 2018, Matthew obtained a certification in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from the MIT School of Architecture and Planning.
