Adam Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Adam is currently working at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they serve as the Chief Scientist for the National Health Mission Area. In this role, they focus on securing individual and global health by developing a comprehensive health data ecosystem. Adam also served as the Acting Health Protection and Assurance Program Area Manager and Health Technologies & Army Medical Response Program Manager for the same organization.
In addition, Adam has worked at Yale New Haven Health as a Neurologist and Associate Clinical Professor. Adam is also a Digital Health and Health Technology Advisor for the same organization.
Adam has provided advisory services to several companies including Thirty Madison, Pear Therapeutics, and has been involved in healthcare transformation as a Clinical Affiliate at Massachusetts General Hospital. Adam has also worked as a Neurologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Prior to these roles, Adam completed their fellowship in Neuroradiology and Neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Adam also served as the Neurology Chief Resident at Partners HealthCare and completed their residency in Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Adam Cohen received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Michigan from 1996 to 2000. Adam then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2000 to 2004. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2023 to 2025.
