Ben Letson

Ben Letson, Ph.D., serves as a Senior GNC Hardware Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since June 2022, focusing on flight navigation, guidance, and control evaluation and development. Previously, Ben pursued a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida from August 2017 to May 2022, where Ben also obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In June 2020, Ben gained practical experience as a System Engineering Intern at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. Prior roles include lifeguarding at Huntsville Natatorium and Greenwyche Pool, as well as working on the grounds crew at Valley Hill Country Club Golf Course. Ben earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in 2017.
