Jincheol Ha is a seasoned Senior Research Engineer currently working at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since November 2018. Prior to this role, Jincheol served as a Senior Research Engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute from June 2015 to November 2018 and as a Research Scientist at Guided Systems Technologies from May 2008 to April 2015. Jincheol's expertise encompasses computer vision technologies for UAV operations, deep learning, system integration and testing, modeling and simulation, and reinforcement learning. Jincheol earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2008, following a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution from 2001 to 2003.
