Kerry Neace, Ph.D., serves as the APL Eglin Field Site Manager and Principal Professional Staff Program Area Manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since September 2005, where responsibilities include technical management for various tactical aircraft and weapons programs for the Department of Defense and other government sponsors. Prior to this role, Kerry Neace held significant positions at Naval Air Systems Command, including lead test pilot for the F-35 at VX-23 and overseeing the Tomahawk cruise missile test programs. Kerry Neace began a career in the US Navy as an F-14 pilot and boasts extensive educational qualifications, including a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a Master's degree in Aerospace from the Naval Postgraduate School.
