Lisa Blodgett

Lisa Blodgett has extensive experience at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since 1991, currently serving as the Sector Head of the Force Projection Sector, which supports a significant portion of the laboratory's sponsored programs with over 1,100 staff members. Previous roles include Mission Area Executive for Sea Control and Undersea Warfare, where responsibilities encompassed planning and execution of undersea warfare programs. Additionally, Lisa managed $45 million in project funds, led technical groups in antisubmarine warfare analysis, and supervised acoustic analysis and signal processing teams. Lisa's early career includes a position as an Engineering Co-Op at McDonnell Douglas and as a Research Engineer. Educational credentials include two master's degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
