Max Wieder

Max Wieder is a Senior Professional Staff member at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since March 2016, where responsibilities include acting as Section Supervisor and Assistant Project Manager for various projects related to the Europa Clipper and IMAP-Lo. Prior to this role, Max co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Celcy from March 2018 to April 2025. Max also held positions at Textron Systems, contributing as a Lead Systems Engineer and managing requirements for unmanned systems. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, Max has gained early career experience as a research assistant, engineering intern, and teacher's assistant.
