Patrick King is an accomplished astrophysicist with a strong academic and research background in astronomy and physics. Patrick has served as Senior Professional Staff II and previously as Senior Professional Staff I at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since September 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Livermore Graduate Scholar at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from October 2017 to August 2019, and as a Predoctoral Fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics from September 2016 to June 2017. Patrick's academic journey includes earning a PhD in Astronomy and a MS in Astronomy from the University of Virginia, where Patrick also held multiple teaching assistant and instructorship roles. Patrick completed a BS in Physics at William & Mary, where Patrick engaged in various research and teaching positions.
