Seth Marks is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Software Lead at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since March 2024, Seth is focused on designing and building space-based systems. Prior to this role, Seth held positions including Head of Software Engineering at RRAI, Chief Technical Officer at Cooksy Corporation, and Vice President of Engineering at Hamilton Innovations, where responsibilities included team building and product delivery using Agile methodologies. Earlier career roles at Raytheon involved leadership of cross-functional teams and software development for missile defense and unmanned vehicle systems, while foundational experience as a Software Architect at Motorola and Electrical Engineer at Vantage Controls further solidified technical expertise. Seth holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
