Shashwat Acharya

Shashwat Acharya is a software engineer with experience at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since June 2022. Prior internships include roles at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a systems/software engineering intern, Boeing as a software engineer intern, and Collins Aerospace as a software engineering co-op, contributing to mission systems development. Shashwat was also involved in the ERAU Robotics Association as a software and electrical team member, led the development of a cookbook database during the Cookbook Initiative, and participated in CubeSat designs within the Space and Atmospheric Instrumentation Lab. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins (expected December 2024) and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computational Mathematics and Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
