Beckstrom Heidi has extensive experience in healthcare, particularly in standards interpretation and quality improvement. Since 2009, Beckstrom has served as the Associate Director of SIG and Surveyor at the Joint Commission, utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles to address problem identification and resolution. Prior to this role, Beckstrom held positions as the SIG Associate Director at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center of Chicago and as a Stroke Nurse Practitioner at Sinai Health System. Beckstrom obtained education from Northern Illinois University between 1987 and 1990.
