Johanna L. Morton, MD, MS, currently serves as the Medical Director of Acute Care Clinical Transformation and Teleneurologist at Ascension, where also holds the position of National Medical Director of Teleneurology since June 2022. Previously, Johanna Morton has been involved with the Joint Commission as a Disease Specific Care Stroke Reviewer since February 2017 and worked at SOC Telemed as a Vascular Neurologist and Vice Chair of Emergency Neurology until August 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Vascular Neurologist and Clinical Researcher at Seton Healthcare Family, as well as Stroke Program Medical Director and Neurohospitalist at St. David's HealthCare and HCA Physician Services. Johanna Morton completed a Vascular Neurology Fellowship and Neurology Residency at Cleveland Clinic, following an Internal Medicine Residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a Master of Science in Health Informatics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University.
