Tammy Allen M. Ed.

Tammy Allen M. Ed. serves as the High School Associate Principal of Academics & Instruction at Decatur ISD since June 2022, previously holding the role of High School Assistant Principal. Throughout an extensive career in education, Tammy Allen has focused on instructional leadership and the development of innovative programs for students. Experience with The Jon Gordon Companies, Inc. as a Jon Gordon Certified Trainer complements a history with Denton ISD, where contributions included leadership in summer school credit recovery and instructional strategies as a High School English Teacher, Assistant Principal Intern, and English Teacher. Tammy Allen is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University, building on a Master’s in Educational Leadership and an undergraduate degree in Education from Texas Woman's University, along with earlier academic achievements at North Central Texas College and Martin County High School.
