Matthew Espenshade currently serves as Executive Pastor at The Journey Church since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Professor and University Professor at Cumberland University from August 2019 to August 2021. Matthew has an extensive background with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where service lasted from December 1995 to August 2019, culminating in the position of Assistant Special Agent in Charge. Prior to this, Matthew served as an Intelligence Officer in the US Army from 1987 to 1995. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University (2008-2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Saint Joseph's University (1988-1992).
