Chucky Kim

Chucky Kim is an accomplished music educator and producer with extensive experience in academia and the music industry. Currently serving as faculty at both The Juilliard School and Columbia University since January 2023, Chucky teaches music production, sound design, songwriting/composition, and pedagogy. As a music producer at Sony/ATV Music Publishing since January 2020, notable collaborations include musicians KAI, Babyface, and Jay Park. Chucky was the Head of Music Experience at Artiphon from May 2021 to December 2023, focusing on sound design and music logic for innovative instruments. Previous roles include Lecturer at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and Artistic Director at CultureHub, where Chucky created impactful music and art programs. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Education in Music from Columbia University and a Master of Divinity from Harvard University.
