Katie Friis

Katie Friis has extensive experience in academic administration and the performing arts. Currently serving as the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Curriculum at The Juilliard School since August 2007, Katie has held multiple roles including Administrative Director of the Dance Division and various positions related to Dance and Drama Admissions. Prior to joining The Juilliard School, Katie worked as the Office Manager and Press Coordinator for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and served as the Box Office Manager at the Theatre of the Riverside Church. An education background includes a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Minnesota, supplemented by an exchange program at Simon Fraser University.
