The Juilliard School
Rick Baitz is a seasoned composer and music producer with extensive experience in the music industry since 1992, operating their own project studio and music production company in New York. Currently a faculty member at The Juilliard School and Vermont College of Fine Arts, Rick has previously served as Faculty Chair for the MFA in Music Composition. As the Founding Director of BMI's "Composing for the Screen: A Film Scoring Mentorship Program," Rick has received recognition for their contributions to emerging composers. Additional experience includes roles as a producer and arranger at BR Productions and Director of Composition at Columbia College Chicago. Rick holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Columbia University and multiple degrees in composition from the Manhattan School of Music.
