Barbara Schwartz MA, LCPC, has extensive experience in the field of therapy and education, currently serving as a children and adult therapist at The Juniper Center since August 2014. Prior experience includes roles at Chicago Public Schools as a Resource Teacher Substitute Teacher from August 2011 to June 2014 and as a Case Manager/Guidance Counselor from September 2007 to June 2011, focusing on case management and guidance counseling for students with special needs. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Friendship Junior High School, Co-director of a summer day camp at Glenview Park District, and Community Outreach Coordinator at the Maine Niles Association of Special Recreation. Barbara Schwartz holds a Master's degree in Counseling, specializing in School Counseling, from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
