Xavi Cortadellas has a diverse education history. In 2003, they obtained a Executive MBA degree in Design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK). In 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Executive Master of Business Administration from ESIC Business & Marketing School. Xavi also completed a Master's degree in Plastic Materials from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2007. In 2003, Xavi completed their Graduate degree in Industrial Designer from University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona. Prior to that, they obtained a Technical Engineer degree in Industrial Design from ELISAVA in 2000. In 1998, they received a Graduate degree in Naval Technical Engineer from Instituto del mar and in the same year, they also obtained a Graduate degree in Electronics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
