Michael McGarvey

Michael McGarvey has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Michael is currently the Managing Director at The Key Support Services, where they provide sector intelligence and resources to school leaders. Prior to this, they worked at Cambridge University Press & Assessment as the Director of Cambridge Learning for Schools and later as the Director of UK Education. Michael also had various roles at Pearson, including Director of School Partnerships in the Middle East & Africa, Vice President for Africa Schools, Sales Director for Africa & The Caribbean, and Africa Sales Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for product development, commercial strategy, and managing teams and networks.

Michael McGarvey completed a Bachelor's Degree in Surveying Engineering from the University of Reading from 1990 to 1993. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Edinburgh Business School from 2003 to 2006. In 2017, they attended the University of Cambridge and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, although the field of study is not specified.
