Janice Melanson is an experienced executive assistant and leader with a diverse background in non-profit organizations and business management. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant at The Kidney Foundation of Canada since March 2019, Janice previously held this role from 2011 to 2017, providing support to the Executive Director and National Board. Janice has also contributed as the National Coordinator for Programs and Public Policy at The Kidney Foundation, assisting kidney patients with vital resources. As the former Executive Director of the Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network, Janice focused on connecting consumers with organic agriculture. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Breast Cancer Action Montreal and Ten Thousand Villages Canada, where Janice oversaw operations, community education, and outreach initiatives. Janice's educational background includes a Certificate in Policy Governance and studies at Ryerson University, McGill University, and the College of the Rockies.
