Jeff Midday has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Jeff is currently the Vice President and General Manager at The Kinetic Co., Inc. Their previous role was as an Engineering Manager, where they led a geographically dispersed engineering team focused on new product development in the oil and gas industry at Yaskawa America, Inc. Jeff also held roles such as Manager - Division Strategy, Strategic Program Manager, and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Yaskawa. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer and then a Manufacturing Engineer at Racine Metal-Fab Ltd. Jeff also served as the Lead Engineer at Friction Stir Link and as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jeff's early career included roles as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Cooper Power Systems and as an NSF-ONR Undergraduate Researcher at Marquette University. Jeff began their professional journey as a Manufacturing Co-op at Sussek Machine Corporation.
Jeff Midday, PE has a strong education background in engineering and business. Jeff obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in 2010. Jeff then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, completing it in 2012. In 2018, Jeff Midday, PE earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
In addition to their formal education, Jeff Midday, PE has also obtained several certifications. Jeff holds a Professional Engineer license in both Wisconsin and Illinois, obtained in 2015 and 2014 respectively, from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). Jeff Midday, PE has also completed certificate programs in Developing Your Emotional Intelligence and Leadership and Team Development from the American Management Association in 2015 and 2014 respectively.
