Alison Bennett

Alison Bennett is an experienced compliance and internal audit professional currently serving at The King's Foundation since October 2022, where responsibilities include managing compliance with external regulations and overseeing the charity’s risk framework. Previously, from July 2013 to March 2022, Alison held the position of Deputy Chief Executive at ENTRUST, regulating the Landfill Communities Fund and overseeing various operational functions. Earlier roles include serving as Head of Young People's Central Team at the Education Funding Agency and Head of Commissioning at the Young People's Learning Agency, where significant contributions were made to education and training initiatives for 16-19 year-olds. Alison's career began at the Learning and Skills Council, where extensive management experience was gained. Alison’s academic background comprises a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MBA in Operations, Project, and Change Management from Oxford Brookes University.
