Alan Brown

Alan Brown possesses extensive experience in finance and investment management, currently serving on several committees and boards including the Member Finance Committee at The Academy of Medical Sciences and the Member Investment Committees for both Christ's College Cambridge and The Gurkha Welfare Trust. Additionally, Alan contributes as a Trustee and Treasurer at The King's Fund, and holds the position of Chairman at Artemis Investment Management. Previous roles include Director at Pool Re, Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee at Schroder Retirement Benefit System, and Chairman of the Board at both CDP and Westway Trust. Alan’s academic background includes a BA and MA in Natural Sciences (Physics) from the University of Cambridge.
