Pooja Mathur

Pooja Mathur is an experienced educator and librarian with a focus on supporting literacy and educational initiatives. Currently serving as Teacher Librarian at The King's School since October 2018, Pooja coordinates the Reading Club and tutors Year 11 students. Pooja has also contributed to the School Library Association NSW as Vice President Operations and Secretary from September 2021 to January 2024. Prior roles include temporary and casual positions in various schools, where responsibilities ranged from coordinating reading programs to providing instructional support in subjects like Religious Education and Science. Pooja holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Education with a specialization in Teacher Librarianship, and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Arts and Social Science Research at Charles Sturt University.
